Vacancy Description:

Our client is a leading main contractor who work on large scale and long term infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally. They are working on HS2 and are looking for an Information Systems Manager to join them on a long term freelance basis to manage their company IMS.

This is a minimum of a years contract and available to start immediately.

Your responsibilities will include:

Manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the company’s Integrated Management
Systems
- Assist the Executive Directors to ensure the management system is current, updated,
implemented and maintained covering: Quality, Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Information Security and Design
- Report to management team on the performance of the management systems and include recommendations for improvement.
- Lead internal audits on application of IMS
- Participate in external audits on application of IMS
- Promote Company Best Practice & Lessons learned
- Champion the application of their QMS across all offices and disciplines
- Maintain External Accreditations

Your experience will include:

- Experience as IMS Manager / Senior Document Controller or Information Manager
- Experience using construction related information systems eg. CEMAR/ Aconex / Documentum
- Ideally experience gained in the rail sector or on large scale infrastructure project work
- Ideally a knowledge of BIM (not essential)
